Hello,
I am Gurleen, welcome to my e-portfolio.
I started my journey back in 2018, with a proud dental surgery graduation in India, but my heart always felt trapped. During one of my dental programs in a rural area where I used to treat women and listen to their stories and used to relate back to a documentary I saw on Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). I could very well see women's struggles persist despite supposed gender equality strides, underscoring a dire need for change.
This ignited me to take a stand for women, kids and their right to a fairer, healthier future in a more compassionate society.
In 2022, I made a life-altering decision to relocate to Australia, embarking on a new journey by pursuing a master’s in health science (Health Service Management). This educational pursuit aligns perfectly with my strong desire to make a positive impact on women health and humanitarian initiatives.
I am looking forward to join an organisation where together we will fight the change which is long due!
